Great for classic Star Trek fans 5 out of 5
This series is very good. I had not watched the show at all until it was off the air, but I've caught up with it now. The best part is occasionally, they wink at the audience with references to William Shatner's past as Captain Kirk. Very funny if you were a fan of the old Star Trek show. The first two seasons are better .... 3 out of 5
I rated this a three relative to the other two seasons, otherwise it would be a four. Boston Legal is like most television shows, they start the series out funny or entertaining then quickly degenerate into political nonsense. Think Law and Order, except the producers are on a much faster timetable to drive the show from entertainment to political commentary. Series three is the last of this series that has any entertainment value, and even that is stretching it if you were accustomed to the liveliness of season one and two. It might be better for your memories of Boston Legal to skip watching this .... A GREAT show !!!! 5 out of 5
Boston Legal is one of the FUNNIEST television shows that has ever been on, quality of DVD set was perfect .... Excellent, excellent show but this set... 5 out of 5
This is one of my favorite shows of all time. Only problem with this set is that it is missing some important shows. All of a sudden, one character is gone (skipped that episode on the dvd) and we missed who the father is of the baby, etc. Just so you know, not all the season episodes are here. You need to fill in the blanks on why Clarence is now Shore's secretary and not Claire's, and more. Other than missing shows, it is wonderful! Pretty Good Season! 5 out of 5
While I did not enjoy the new "Clarence/Clarise" character, I did have fun with the two new lawyers (while they lasted). Also, Bowen's expanded role let her actress skills shine, and she was a joy to watch. Also, Jerry ("Hands") comes back to the show in an expanded role, and he is a wonderful character. Alan and Denny never stop getting more and more interesting, and you will love their exchanges. This is definitely a season worth watching.
Enjoy!
